ST. PAUL’S HOSPITAL FOUNDATION
At St. Paul’s Hospital, we are transforming care with a state-of-the-art Interventional Radiology Suite. Installing this new technology will expand St. Paul’s capacity to offer effective, targeted therapies for vascular and urological conditions, thoracic surgeries, and cancer care. Our Interventional Radiology teams perform thousands of vital procedures annually, and putting this innovative technology in the hands of our talented professionals will reduce radiation exposure to staff and patients, increase collaboration across healthcare specialties, support procedures that are as minimally invasive as possible, retain talented healthcare professionals, and support better patient outcomes.
SASKATOON CITY HOSPITAL FOUNDATION
Saskatoon City Hospital is reimagining healthcare. 109 new acute care beds will increase capacity and help alleviate pressure throughout the system. The goal is to ensure patients have beds when they need them. The expansion adds 60 medicine beds with full support services and 15 beds for patients requiring specialized care, heightened observation and intensive interventions.
A 22-bed acute rehab unit will offer intensive care and enhanced, low-intensity therapies to patients who’ve experienced serious medical events. The hospital also will house Saskatchewan’ s first-ever dedicated acquired brain injury unit, designed for patients who’ve experienced traumatic brain damage caused by accidents or medical catastrophes. Your Hospital Home Lottery purchase supports equipment and resources necessary for the added beds.
ROYAL UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL FOUNDATION
Proceeds from Hospital Home Lottery will support orthopedic trauma care at Royal University Hospital—Saskatchewan’s main trauma centre. At Royal University Hospital, specialists in orthopedic trauma treat many patients who suffer accidents, falls and other serious events. This support will give our specialists access to the advanced tools they need to complete these important surgeries. Because of you, health-care teams at RUH will be able to offer world-class care for trauma patients from across Saskatchewan. Whether it’s farming accidents, serious traffic collisions or other life-threatening events—your support helps us ensure we’re ready when the unexpected happens.
